Use of Powers cont’d.... Power to Discern and Power to Judge
Today, we shall talk about an important power available with us which needs our understanding and proper use viz. Power to discern. We have already discussed power to accept. But we should know what to accept. Also, the acceptance is within our mind. Power to discern tells us that we don't have any control over the past things. We simply can't do anything about them. They have already happened. So, we have to accept them. But, we can learn from the past mistakes, take care and prevent such actions in future. This learning is entirely in our hands. Past things shall impact our present and future. But, we should not keep on complaining about it. We have to face the results of the past mistakes and we should accept these results as well. But, if we are able to take some corrective actions which are in our hands, our future life could be better. We must know what is in our hands and what is not.
